The OnePlus 7T was one of the best smartphones to have when it was launched back in September 2019. It still is and commands a lot of respect even in the face of competition against more updated smartphones.

However, as it is with all devices, OnePlus 7T too has its share of issues. For instance, wireless issues are quite common with the OnePlus 7T, which can make owing the phone a bit bothersome if not dealt with effectively.

Don’t worry though! Mentioned here are some tips and tricks that will help you deal with wireless related issues on your OnePlus 7T and can also save you a trip to the nearest OnePlus repair shop.

Solutions for OnePlus 7T Wi-Fi issues

It is common to experience Wi-Fi issues when you have OnePlus 7T. You might be struggling with Wi-Fi drops or the Wi-Fi speed might have slowed down significantly. In fact, OnePlus phones such as the OnePlus 6 or the OnePlus 6T also faced similar problems when launched. So, if you are facing something similar with the OnePlus 7T, here is all that you need to do.

Turn off Wi-Fi and then back on again

Let’s start with the simple things first — Turn off the Wi-Fi on your phone.

1. Just swipe down from the top and long press on the Wi-Fi icon.

2. In the Wi-Fi page, just turn off the slider button, wait for about a minute, and turn it on again.

See if the phone can connect to the Wi-Fi network again.

Forget wireless network and connect again

1. Go to Settings > Wi-Fi.

2. Select the wireless network that you connect to and tap on the Forget option.

3. Repeat the process and select the wireless network again. This time, tap on the Connect option. You might be asked to enter the password again. Reconnect and see if this helps.

Solutions for OnePlus 7T Bluetooth issues

The OnePlus 7T comes pre-loaded with the OxygenOS 10.0.7, which is based on Android 10. That happens to be a stable build and the Bluetooth functions extremely well on Android 10 powered devices. However, many face problems with their Bluetooth connection while in a car, or when connected via Android Auto. The most common problem here is that the phone just doesn’t connect, or even if it does, the car infotainment system might have your phone greyed out.

So, here is how your fix it.

Reboot your phone

Again, the simplest thing to do will be to just reboot your device. Once your phone has restarted, try establishing the connection again.

Turn off HD calling

1. Go to Settings > Network Setting.

2. Search for HD calling and turn the feature off.

Many users say that this solves their Bluetooth problems.

Update OnePlus 7T

This also happens to be a common solution to many problems that this device faces. The update includes fixes for the most common issues, and it is always recommended to install the latest updates whenever those are made available.

1. To update, go to Settings > System > System Updates

2. Tap on the Check for updates option.

3. If you see any update available, tap on the Download & Install Now option.

So, give the above tips a try if you experience wireless issues on your OnePlus 7T phone. And if nothing works, get it checked at a reputed and reliable OnePlus repair centre.
